Wagner Franco Molina
Wagner Franco Molina obtained his Ph.D. degree in genetics and evolution from the Federal University of São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Molina is an Associate Professor of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil), performing teaching duties and research and acting as an Advisor in the Postgraduate Biotechnology Program (RENORBIO), Postgraduate Ecology Program, Postgraduate in Systematic and Evolution, and Aquaculture Technology Centre (CTA). Dr. Molina experienced in animal genetics, with an emphasis on animal cytogenetics and molecular markers. Presently, he is the head of four research projects in biotechnology with financial support. He conducts research primarily on applied cytogenetics and chromosomal evolution of marine fish and chromosomal manipulation in peneid crustaceans.
