Hyun Joong Yoon

Hyun Joong Yoon is an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Catholic University of Daegu, Korea. He received the B.S. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 1997, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 1999 and 2004, respectively. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Institute of the National Research Council, ON, Canada, and a Senior Researcher at the Mechatronics and Manufacturing Technology Center, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, in Korea. His current research interests include modeling, scheduling, and simulation of automated manufacturing systems.
