Alejandro Martinez

Alejandro Martinez received the Telecom Engineer and the Ph.D. degrees from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain, in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He serves currently as an Associate Professor at the same university and as a Senior Researcher of the Nanophotonics Technology Center www.ntc.upv.es. He has published over 100 papers in international journals (h-index=15) and conferences and holds 5 patents. He has worked in several national and European research projects, and he is the Coordinator of project FET-Open TAILPHOX. His research interests include photonic crystals, silicon photonics, nanophotonics, and metamaterials.
