Moucheng Li

Shanghai University, China

Moucheng Li is a Professor at Institute of Materials, Shanghai University. He obtained Ph. D. degree in July 2002 from the Institute of Metal Research (Chinese Academy of Sciences). Dr. Li visited University of Calgary (Canada) as Postdoctoral Fellow from March to July 2007 and CNRS (University of Antilles and Guyane, France) as Research Scientist from September 2007 to March 2008. His research has been focused on the corrosion and protection of metals, for example, stainless steels and metallic coatings in the automotive industry. Electrochemistry and materials science are interconnected in the corrosion research. Currently, his main research interests include electrodeposition and corrosion behavior of metallic coatings, corrosion and oxidation of stainless steels in automotive exhausting system, localized corrosion of metals with LEIS/SECM/SVP techniques, and analysis of corrosion failure.
