Marianne Juhler obtained the M.D. degree from Copenhagen University, Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1981. She received clinical education in Copenhagen and at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. From 1997 to 2003 she worked as Head of Department of Neurosurgery, Copenhagen University Hospital. From 2008 to present, she occupies the position of Professor of experimental neurosurgery at Copenhagen University. From 2003 to 2007 she was President of Danish Neurosurgical Society (DNKS). From 2003 to date she serves as National Delegate to the training committee of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS).
