Akira Ikuta
Akira Ikuta was born in Japan in November 1951. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Kyushu Institute of Technology in 1976 and 1978, respectively, and the D.E. degree in engineering from Hiroshima University in 1981. After serving as a Research Associate of electrical engineering at Hiroshima University, he is now a Professor at the Department of Management Information Systems, Prefectural University of Hiroshima. His research interests include digital signal information processing and wave motion environment (sound, vibration, and electromagnetic wave). He is an Editorial Board Member of Advances in Acoustics and Vibration.
