Guochuan Yin

Guochuan Yin, born in1968, Professor of Chemistry in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He is the member of Chinese Chemical Society (CCS) and American Chemical Society (ACS). He received his BSc from Zhejiang University in 1990, and PhD from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998, then, he moved to Nanjing University as a faculty. After that, he went to Kyushu University as a JSPS fellow in Prof. Fujiwara’s lab in 1999; then to University of Kansas in USA as a postdoc in Prof. Daryle Busch’s lab in 2001. In 2008, he came back to China and joined Huazhong University of Science and Technology as a professor of Chemistry. His research interests mainly focus on catalysis, typically on catalytic oxidation in liquid phase, including routine oxidation, asymmetric oxidation, oxidation in CO2-expanded solvent for a greener chemistry, environmental medication by oxidation, biomass conversion by oxidation and hydrogenation, and oxidation for industrial applications.
