Francesca Bagnato

Dr Francesca Bagnato earned her M.D. degree from the University of Rome La Sapienza, in Italy. Dr Bagnato completed her training in Neurology and receiveid her PhD in neuroscience in the University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy. Thereafter, Dr Bagnato was a post-doctoral fellow in the Neurological Diseases Section of the Neuroimmunology Branch at the NIH, Bethesda, USA. She remained working as staff scientist at the NIH and she is now working in the Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at the University of Vanderbilt. The focus of her research is magnetic resonance imaging as it applies to the study and understanding of multiple sclerosis.
