Laura Palombi

Laura Palombi was born in Rome where she studied chemistry and graduated in 1994 at the University La Sapienza, Rome, Italy. After one year as a Postgraduated Fellow at the Department of Physical Biochemistry of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, she moved back to the University La Sapienza to study for her Ph.D. degree on “New methodologies for stereoselective and enantioselective oxidations” (in English). In 1999, she obtained a four-year Researcher position at the University of L'Aquila where she started investigations in the field of the organic electrosynthesis. In 2004, she got a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Salerno.
