Cengiz Camci obtained the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1977; M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Bosphorus University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1979; Ph.D. degree from Von Karman Institute/Katholieke University Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, in 1985. Camci was an Assistant Professor in 1986, Associate Professor in 1992, and Professor in 2000. Camci has been a Member at AIAA from 1987 to present, Member at ASME from 1986 to present, Member at ASME International Gas Turbine Institute from 1986 to present, and Member at ASEE from 1988 to present. Camci obtained P&W/PSU Centre of Excellence grants on turbine research, in 2010–2014. He served at the College of Engineering, Global Engineering Education (GLEE) Planning Committee, in 2011-2012; College of Engineering, Advising Center, Representative, Preengineering adviser, in 2011–2013.
