Wen-Chung Liu

Wen-Chung Liu was born in Changhua, Taiwan, in 1964. He received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Tamkang University, Tamsui, Taiwan, in 1986, the M.S. degree in nuclear engineering from the National Tsinghua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and electronics from Liverpool University, Liverpool, UK, in 1999. From 1990 to 2000, he was a Lecturer and then an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Chien-Kuo Institute of Technology, Changhua, Taiwan. In 2000, he joined the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, National Formosa University, Yunlin, Taiwan, where he is currently a Full Professor. From August 2007 to January 2008, he was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering, King’s College London. His major research areas of interest are in NVIS antenna, printed antenna, and application of optimization technique in antenna design. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
