Peiguang Wang

Peiguang Wang obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Hebei University, Hebei, China, and his Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 1984, 1987, and 2000, respectively. He has been working as a Professor of mathematics at the Department of Mathematics and the College of Electronic and Information Engineering, Hebei University, since 1987. He was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Curtin University of Technology, Australia, for five different durations from 2002 to 2008. He was also a Visiting Research Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hongkong, in 2003 and at the Department of Mathematics, Mahidol University of Thailand, Thailand, in 2007. He received awards for science and technology achievements from Hebei Province in 1999, 2001, and 2008, and a prize for his accomplishments in teaching from Fok Ying Tung Education Funds. He became a Reviewer of Mathematical Reviews of the American Mathematical Society in 2005. He has published more than 100 refereed papers in international journals. His main research areas include ordinary differential equation, functional differential equation, time scale, and control theory.
