J. Biazar received the M.S. degree from Brunel University, Uxbridge, UK, and the Ph.D. degree from Tehran University and Teacher Training University, Iran in 2001. He has been collaborating, as Mathematical Assistant, with Oil and Gas Research Group, at Dalhousie University, NS, Canada, during summers, for five years, 2001–2005. He has contributed to that research group in a very significant way, from inception to execution of projects. Dr. Biazar has been involved in supervising many Postdoctoral, Ph.D., and Masters students, at Dalhousie University and University of Guilan, Iran. He is mainly interested in working on Adomian decomposition, variational iteration, homotopy analysis, homotopy perturbation iteration, and other new methods, for solving nonlinear functional equations. He has modified and extended ADM, VIM, and HPM for solving systems of linear and nonlinear integral equations of the first and second kinds, systems of differential equations, technically and theoretically. Dr. Biazar has been invited as a Reviewer for the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). He is the Chief Editor of the Iranian Journal of Optimization and collaborates with following journals as a Member of the Editorial board: Journal of Natural Science and Sustainable Technology and International Journal of Nonlinear Dynamics in Engineering and Sciences. He also collaborates with more than 20 international journals, as a potential reviewer. Presently, he is a Professor of applied mathematics and has published more than 75 papers in (ISI) journals and more than 50 research papers in international journals during the last 8 years.
