Vu Ngoc Phat

Vu Ngoc Phat received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics at the former USSR Azerbaidzan State University in 1975 and 1984, respectively. In 1995, he received the D.S. degree in mathematics at the Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Science, Warsaw, Poland. He has held research positions at the Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea (1998−1999) and University of New South Wales, Sydney, NSW, Australia (2001–2003). Currently, he works as a Professor of Institute of Mathematics, Hanoi, Vietnam. He serves as a Past Associate Editor of Optimization and currently as an Associate Editor of Nonlinear Functional Analysis and Applications (NFAA), Advances in Nonlinear Variational Inequalities (ANVI), Journal of Applied Mathematics (JAM), Acta Mathematica Vietnamica (AMV), Vietnam Journal of Mathematics (VJM), Thai Journal of Mathematics (TJM), and as a Member of the Technical Committee of Nonlinear Control, IFAC. His research interests include systems and control theory, stability analysis, time-delay systems, variational inequalities, and optimization techniques.
