Hossein Kazemian

Hossein Kazemian is an applied analytical chemist with 20+ years of successful experience in academia and industry as senior researcher, faculty, CEO, supervisor of R & D group in material chemistry, environmental chemistry ( water, air, soil remediation), instrumental analytical chemistry, porous nanomaterials and wide range of their applications in environmental and energy related processes. Hossein has received his Ph.D. degree in Analytical chemistry in 1999. Since 1993 till 2008, he has worked as Faculty ranked as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at NSTRI, Tehran, Iran. He also collaborated with several Iranian Universities and research institutions for 10+ years. He supervised more than 40 Ph.D. degree and M.S. degree students as well as several R&D projects in different disciplines including chemistry, chemical, material, and environmental engineering. In 2009, he joint UKM university in Malaysia as a senior research fellow for 8 months, then joined the Western University (UWO) in Canada as Research Scientist in October 2009. His main scientific interests are synthesis, characterization and applications of porous zeolitic nano materials as adsorbents, catalyst, drug carriers, as well as their applications in environmental friendly processes. So far he has published 270+ scientific articles in the form of books, book chapters, patents, and papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
