Palle E. Jorgensen

Palle E. Jorgensen, is a Professor of mathematics, teaching at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, USA; Jorgensen previously taught at Stanford University (Stanford, Calif, USA), at Aarhus University (Aarhus, Denmark), and at the University of Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania, Pa, USA). He is a research mathematician,-- funding from the National Sciences Foundation (the US NSF). Jorgensen's research areas are functional analysis, wavelets, fractals, applied harmonic analysis, mathematical physics, operator theory, operator algebras, and representation theory.
