Miriam Rodríguez-Sosa received the B.S. degree in chemistry from the Faculty of Chemistry, the Universidad Veracruzana, Veracruz, VER, Mexico, 1987–1992, the M.S. degree in science (cell biology) from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Mexico City, DF, Mexico, 1995–1998, and the Ph.D. degree in science (cell biology) from the same university, 1999–2002. She works as an Assistant Professor of fundamental cellular processes at the same university. Her research interests are lymphoproliferative response to mitogens or specific antigens, cytokine detection by bioassay or ELISA, molecular biology, western blot, and cellular cultures (lymphocytes, macrophages, cell lines, etc.).
