Fuat Bayrakceken is currently a Professor of electronic spectroscopy at Yeditepe University, Turkey, and Head of the Division of Optical Spectroscopy at the same university. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in electronic spectroscopy from London University, his M.S. degree in engineering physics, with a specialization in electronics from Ankara University, Turkey, as well as a B.S. degree in applied mathematics and a B.S. degree in engineering physics from Ankara University. His research experience falls in high-resolution electronic spectroscopy, laser-induced fluorescence, time of flight mass spectroscopy hole-burning and optical storage, optical antennas, Raman spectroscopy, flash photolysis, free radicals, quantum communications, and IR-spectroscopy.
