László Rosivall has an M.D. degree and a Ph.D. degree. He is the Head of the Ph.D. School of Basic Medical Sciences, Semmelweis University, and the first Nephrology Ph.D. Program in Hungary and the Founder of the Budapest Nephrology School. He has served several prestigious positions as the President of Semmelweis University, the President of the Worldwide Hungarian Medical Academy, an active Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, a Treasurer of the International Society for Pathophysiology, and a Founder and the President of the Hungarian Kidney Foundation. He brought experiences from the Bergen, Birmingham, Harvard, Montpellier, Heidelberg, and Tulane universities. His research interests cover renal hemodynamics, renin-angiotensin system, and renal fibrosis from molecules to bedside. He serves on editorial boards of several peer-reviewed journals. His publications include 132 articles, 66 chapters, 2 textbooks, and 2 patents.
