Hung Nguyen-Xuan
Hung Nguyen-Xuan is a Lecturer at the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Mathematics & Computer Science, the University of Science at Vietnam National University, in Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City, Vietnam, and a Researcher of the Ton Duc Thang University. He received his B.S. degree at the Department of Mechanics, the University of Science, his M.S. degree in modelization of continuum, and his Ph.D. degree in computational mechanics from the University of Liege (Belgium). He finished a postdoctoral fellowship at the National University of Singapore, was a Visiting Researcher at the Bauhaus-University Weimar (Germany), and a Research Scholar at the School of Aerospace Systems, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. His research interests are focused on the development of robust computational methods with high-performance computing for computational science and engineering. Nguyen-Xuan authored and coauthored more than 40 international peer-reviewed journal papers and over 30 refereed conference proceeding papers in computational mechanics, the development of computational methods, and some relevant areas.
