Kun Na

Kun Na was born in Naju, Republic of Korea. He received his B.S. degree (1989), M.S. degree (1992), and Ph.D. degree (1997) in chemical technology from Chonnam National University of Korea. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical chemistry with Professor You Han Bae from the University of Utah (from 2002 to 2004). Since he joined the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Catholic University of Korea in 2005, he has been working on design and development of biomaterials for biomedical applications. He is currently Director of Center for Photomedicine. His research interests include biomaterials, nanomedicine, photodynamic therapy (PDT), photochemical internalization (PCI), drug delivery system, biomedical device, and tissue engineering.
