Jun He

Jun He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from the Wuhan University, China, and obtained his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the same university. Currently, he serves as a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Aberystwyth University, UK. His research focuses on computational intelligence and its applications, especially in evolutionary computation for optimization, learning, simulation, and modelling. He undertakes research in the following topics: design and analysis of nature-inspired algorithms for global optimization, artificial immune systems for computer security, and evolutionary approach to adaptive model building. Previously, he also conducted research in parallel algorithms for scientific computing, especially in domain decomposition and multigrid methods for solving partial differential equations. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers in conferences and journals.
