Naoki Haraguchi

Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan

Naoki Haraguchi received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, and Ph.D. degree from the same institute on the precise synthesis of functionalized polymers and branched polymers (supervisor: Professor Akira Hirao) in 1998, 2000, and 2003, respectively. From 2003 to 2004, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Minnesota, Minn, USA (Professor Thomas R. Hoye). Since 2004, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Toyohashi University of Technology. His research interests include polymer-supported chiral catalyst, catalytic asymmetric reaction, noncovalent immobilization, polymer microsphere, anionic polymerization, end-functionalized polymer, and branched polymer.
