Jose A. Lemos

Jose A. Lemos received his Ph.D. degree in microbiology and immunology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He received his Postdoctoral training in molecular microbiology from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA, and University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla, USA. Currently, Dr. Lemos serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester. The research in his laboratory is focused on characterization of the stress responses by Gram-positive bacteria.
