Orhan Sezer

Orhan Sezer was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He received his medical Diploma from the University of Göttingen in Germany and also performed his doctoral thesis there. Afterwards, he worked on signal transduction in Berlin. He received board certification in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. Since 2004 he has been a Full Professor at the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Charité–Universitaetsmedizin Berlin. His research fields include multiple myeloma, malignant lymphomas, targeted therapies, and cancer-induced bone disease.
