Sung-Kook Hong

Sung-Kook Hong received his Ph.D. degree in genetic engineering from the Kyungpook National University, South Korea, in 2002. He finished his postdoctoral training at National Institute of Child and Human Development, National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, MD, USA. Then, Hong held a Staff Scientist position at the Medical Genetics Branch, National Human Genome Institute, National Institutes of Health. His research interests include the molecular and cellular mechanisms of early development and gene regulatory networks important in brain development in vertebrate.
