Bruno Sericola received his Ph.D. degree in computer sciences from the University of Rennes 1, Rennes, France, in 1988. He joined Inria, Valbonne, France, in 1989, as a Researcher and obtained the Habilitation à diriger des recherches in October 1998. In 2004, he was promoted to Senior Research Scientist. His main research activity is in computer and communication systems performance evaluation, dependability, and performability analysis of fault-tolerant systems and applied stochastic processes. Sericola belongs to the editorial boards of several international journals and is in the scientific committees of several international conferences. He has written more than 50 papers in international journals of the highest quality.
