Jörg Lohscheller

Jörg Lohscheller was born in Dinslaken, Germany, in 1974. He received the Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Technology Aachen and the Ph.D. degree (summa cum laude) from the University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. From 2004-2007, he was Senior Scientist at the Department of Phoniatrics and Pediatric Audiology at the University Hospital Erlangen. In 2007, he received the postdoctoral lecture qualification from the Medical Faculty of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. Since 2007, he serves as Adjunct Professor at the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, USA. In 2009, he became Professor of medical informatics at the University of Applied Sciences Trier, Germany. His main research interest is medical signal processing, medical image processing, voice research, and objective audiometry.
