Yonglai Lu

Yonglai Lu, male, was born in 1976. He got his B.A degree on rubber and plastic engineering in 1998 and M.S. degree on material processing engineering in 2001 from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China. He received his Ph.D. degree on polymer physics and chemistry in 2004 from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Currently, he is a Professor of College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. His research interests include (1) rubber-based nanocomposite: carbon nanotube, layered silicate and metal salts of unsaturated acrylate acid reinforced rubber; (2) functional elastomer composites-elastomer thermal interface materials for microelectronics products; (3) stretching orientation and strain-induced crystallization behaviors of rubber and rubber nanocomposites. He published over 90 papers (over 40 international papers) and 4 book chapters. He was awarded by Beijing Nova Program for Science & Technology in 2006.
