Holger Schlör

Holger Schlör has a Ph.D. degree in economics. His main research field is sustainable development and energy economics. Schlör studied economics at the University of Heidelberg and went on to complete his Ph.D. degree in economics in Berlin. He received a scholarship from the German Marshall Fund and the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Foundation. He has conducted research at several institutions and is currently working at Forschungszentrum Jülich in the Institute of Energy and Climate Research-Systems Analysis and Technology Evaluation (IEK-STE). His research here focuses on the fields of sustainable development, economics, and energy systems analysis. He is a Member of the Advisory Board of the International Journal of Green Economics and of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Dubrovnik Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems.
