Christopher J. Reuter
Christopher obtained his B. S. in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 2001. Dr. Reuter continued his education at the University of Florida receiving his Ph.D. in the area of Prokaryotic physiology. Dr. Reuter's graduate studies focused on genetic engineering and protein expression, purification, and characterization from the halophilic archaeon Haloferax volcanii and the host bacterium, Escherichia coli. Dr. Reuter joined Osprey Biotechnics in 2005, and was promoted to Vice President of Science in 2010, where he continues to oversee the Quality Control and Research & Development laboratories in addition to advising on technical aspects of fermentation and manufacturing.
