Jung-Ho Ahn

Jung-Ho Ahn works as a Professor at the Department of Materials Engineering, Andong National University, Gyeongbuk, South Korea. In 1981, he received his B.S. degree of Engineering (materials engineering), Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, in 1984, a Licencié en Sci Appliquées (materials Science), Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium, and in 1988, a Docteur en Sciences Naturelles Appliquées (materials science), Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. Between 1989 and 1995, he served as a Senior Researcher, Korea Institute of Materials Sciences. Since 1995, he has been a Professor, Andong National University. He was a Japanese STA Fellow (National Inst for Metals, Tsukuba), 1994; an Australian Research Council IREX Fellow (Inst for Superconducting & Electronic Materials, Australia) 1999, 2002; an Editorial Board Member at Journal of Metastable & Nanocrystalline Materials, 1999–2005; a Vice President, The Korean Powder Metallurgy Institute, since 2009. He has authorship of about 140 scientific papers (nanomaterials, energy storage materials, and superconductors).
