Ahmed Bouhouche received his Ph.D. degree from the University Paul Sabatier of Toulouse, France, in 1992. Since 1996, he has become a Researcher at the Department of Neurology and Neurogenetics of the Hospital of Specialties of Rabat, and since 2006, a Professor of human genetics at the Medical School of Rabat. His expertise area concerns particularly the hereditary neurological diseases (neurogenetics). Moreover, he is a Member of The Scientific Committee of the Moroccan research network Pôle de Compétences en Neurogénétique (PCNG) which develops research in the field of hereditary diseases of the nervous system using a multidisciplinary approach (electrophysiology, anatomopathology, biochemistry, and molecular biology).
