MinShi Lee obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Center for the Epidemiology of Infectious Disease from Oxford University, Oxford, UK. He joined the National Health Research Institute, in 2005. Before that, he acted as an Epidemiologist and a Scientist at the MedImmune Vaccines (formerly Aviron). Lee has won numerous awards, including the National Innovation Award from the Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry and Outstanding Young Investigators Research Award from the National Health Research Institute. His research interests include epidemiology of infectious diseases and development of influenza and enterovirus 71 vaccines, and he has coauthored over 30 original research articles and 20 technology reports. Besides, he acts as a reviewer for several international journals and has organized several international and national symposia.
