C. Pasquali

C. Pasquali was born in Tolmezzo, Italy, in 1953. He received a degree in medicine and surgery in 1978 from the University of Padova, Italy, and the postgraduate degree in general surgery and then gastroenterology from the same University in 1984 and 1988, respectively. From 1982 to 1983, he was serving as an Honorary Research Assistant at the Hammersmith Hospital, RPMS University of London (Endocrine Unit and Gastrointestinal Hormones Laboratory). He received the postgraduate degree in endocrine surgery in 1991 from the University of Verona, Italy. Since 1992, he works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Surgery of the University of Padova. Presently, he serves as an Associate Professor in general surgery at the same University. He is mainly interested in pancreatic surgery, pancreatic and periampullary neoplasms, and pancreatic and gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors. He has been a Council Member from 2005 to 2008 of the European Pancreatic Club and is a Member of many other scientific societies.
