Xiande Fang

Dr. Xiande Fang is a professor at the Institute of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), China. He received his Ph. D. in Engineering Thermophysics from University of Science and Technology of China in 1990, M.Sci.in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University, China in 1984, and B. Eng. in Environmental Control Engineering from NUAA in 1982. His research areas are air conditioning and refrigeration, solar thermal energy, aircraft environmental control, two-phase heat transfer and hydraulics in various gravity, supercritical heat transfer and hydraulics, and thermal-fluid applications in thermal-fluid equipment and systems. He is a P. Eng. with Professional Engineers Ontario, Canada, the lead guest editor of Special Issue of Science and Technology of Nuclear Installations, the Hindawi Publishing Corporation, an associate editor of Energy Science and Technology, Canada, and a member of editorial board, Journal of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, USA. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and 4 books/book chapters, acquired 12 scientific and technological awards with 7 as the first winner, and obtained 8 invention patents.
