Pingfu Fu is an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University and a Member of Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. He earned his Ph.D. degree in biostatistics in 2001 and received his M.S. degree in statistics in 1996, both at Case. Prior to coming to the USA, Fu received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics in China. His research touches topics from statistical methods and theory in areas of survival analysis, study design, measurements with limits of detection, to data analysis of clinical trials, to subject areas of epidemiology, cancer (breast, prostate, melanoma, lung, leukemia, renal, thyroid, and ovarian), HIV/AIDS, and dermatology.
