Kenneth R. Casey is a Professor of Medicine at College of Medicine, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA and a Chief Sleep Services at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Casey acquired his B.S. degree from Trinity College, Hartford, Conn, USA, his M.D. degree at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, and his M.P.H. degree at the University of Utah, School of Medicine. Casey is a Fellow at the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is also the Chairman of the ACCP Sleep Network, Executive Committee ACCP, Council of Networks, and ACCP Health and Science Policy Committee. Casey's research interests include evidence-based pulmonary and sleep medicine, the full spectrum of sleep disorders, in particular, central and complex sleep-disordered breathing, sleep disorders associated with posttraumatic stress disorder, central nervous system, cardiovascular, and renal disorders.
