Tin Tai Choww received his B.A. and M.S degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Hong Kong, his M.B.A. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and his Ph.D. degree from the ESRU (Energy Systems Research Unit) of the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. He is also Fellow of HKIE (Hong Kong Institution of Engineers), CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building services Engineers), and ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc). He is currently the Associate Professor and Director of the Building Energy and Environmental Technology Research Unit of the Division of Building Science and Technology, College of Science & Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong. He has had guest professorship in a number of universities, such as the Hunan University, the University of Science and Technology of China, and the Shanghai University of Electric Power. His research interest lies in energy and environmental engineering. Dr. Chow has over 250 publications in books, journals, and conferences, and so forth, including more than a hundred SCI journal articles.
