Thomas Quaschning

Thomas Quaschning was born in Salzgitter, Germany, in 1967. From 1992 to 1997, he was conducting his medical studies at the University of Freiburg, Germany. In 1997, Quaschning received his M.S. degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Freiburg, Germany. In 1998, he got his official registration as a physician (equivalent to M.D. degree). In 1997-1998, he received his clinical training in internal medicine at the University of Würzburg, Germany. In 1998–2000, Quaschning began his scientific work in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Zürich, Switzerland. He has been working in his scientific work in nephrology and hypertension since 2000. From 2000 to 2004, he worked in his clinical training in medicine/nephrology and hypertension at the University of Würzburg, Germany. In 2003, he received his board certification as a specialist in internal medicine. In 2004, he recieved the venia legendi for internal medicine from the University of Würzburg, Germany; he received his board certification as a specialist in nephrology; he became a specialist in nephrology at Freiburg, Germany. In 2005, Quaschning received the veni legendi for internal medicine from the University of Freiburg, Germany. In 2007, he became a Professor of internal medicine at the University of Freiburg, Germany. In 2008, he became a specialist in nephrology in Göttingen, Germany. In 2009, he became a specialist in nephrology at Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany.
