Malgorzata Janicka was born in Lublin, Poland. She was graduated at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and received her Ph.D. degree (1993) in chemistry at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. Presently, she works at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry at the same University. Her main research interests are focused in theory of liquid chromatography, correlation between different liquid chromatography techniques, i.e. column, thin-layer, and overpressured layer chromatography, applying chromatography and BioArena to study properties and bioactivity of potentially active compounds, studying lipophilic properties of bioactive compounds by reversed-phase and micellar liquid chromatography, and quantitative retention-property relationships. Janicka is the author/coauthor of more than 40 peer-reviewed papers, book chapter, and over 80 papers presented at international scientific conferences.
