Tolga Can

Tolga Can was born in Bursa, Turkey, in 1976. He received his B.S. degree in computer engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey in 1998 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor of computer engineering at the Middle East Technical University. Can is the cofounder of the Turkish Bioinformatics Society, which was founded in March 2010. His main research interests are in computational systems biology, especially prediction and analysis of protein-protein interaction networks.
