Muhammad Yahaya

Muhammad Yahaya is an Emeritus Professor of physics at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. degree at Monash University in 1979 and Ph.D. degree from ITB, Indonesia, in 1973. Dr, Yahaya maintains a diverse research interest including thin films, electronic property of metals, solar energy, and computers in physics communication. Dr. Yahaya holds membership to various organizations and institutions. He is actively involved in physics and science terminology, writing Malay language text book on physics. He is currently the President of Malaysian Solid State Science and Technology, a Fellow of Akademi Sains Malaysia, a Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Physics, a Member of the American Association of Physics Teachers, a Member of IEEE, and a Member of Malaysia Materials Science. Dr. Yahaya is currently a Member of Editorial Board of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
