Vincent Dupriez obtained a Ph.D. degree in educational sciences and works as a Professor of education at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. His major research interests are comparative education, educational policies, school administration, and theories of justice referring to education. He got the 2008 George Bereday Award from Comparative and International Education Society for a paper he coauthored and published in Comparative Education Review. He currently leads the Interdisciplinary Research Group in Socialization, Education and Training (GIRSEF), at the UCL. He coordinated recently collective books (in French) about justice in education and educational effectiveness in research and policies. He wrote also for UNESCO-IIEP a synthesis paper in 2010 about tracking and grouping policies at school and school system levels.
