Cees B. Oudejans

Cees Oudejans, MD, PhD (with honors) is professor of Experimental Clinical Chemistry and head of the Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Department of Clinical Chemistry at the VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He is an expert on placental biology with a focus on the use of maternal plasma DNA and RNA for non-invasive prenatal diagnostics (NIPD) and the relation between placental dysfunction and pregnancy-associated diseases (pre-eclampsia, HELLP).
