Lesley Greene earned a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from the University of Miami, Miami, Fla, USA. He got training in the United Kingdom as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford and was also a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Biochemistry at University College London. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va, USA. His research interests and expertise are in the areas of biochemistry, protein biophysics, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and network science. In particular, he studies the determinants of protein folding and structure as well as protein evolution using both computational and experimental approaches. He also engages in collaborative research which enables him to study proteins with scientists from a variety of disciplines to include biology, biochemistry, chemistry, computer science, and mathematics.
