Thomas R. Chauncey
Thomas R. Chauncey is an Associate Professor of medical oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Wash , USA, and an Associate Member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Wash, USA. He is also the Director of the Marrow Transplant Unit at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. He has an undergraduate degree in mathematics and biochemistry from Bowdoin College, Me, USA, a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from The University of Chicago, Ill, USA, and an M.D. degree from Rush Medical College, Ill, USA. He was an Intern, Resident, and Medical Oncology Fellow at the University of Washington. Chauncey is a member of many local and national committees and is a Past Chair of the National Marrow Donor Program’s Standards Committee. He is the author and coauthor of over 100 articles in peer-reviewed publications. His research interests include application of allogeneic and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation techniques as well as nontransplant therapy of hematologic malignancies.
