Benjamin Bar Oz received his M.D. degree from the Hebrew University and Hadassah School of Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel (1987). His specialty is in pediatrics (1991) and subspecialty in neonatology (1993). He finished a fellowship on mother-risk program and clinical pharmacology, The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada (1998-1999). He is an Associate Clinical Professor in pediatrics (neonatology), Hebrew University and Hadassah School of Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel, and the Head of the Department of Neonatology, Hadassah Medical Centers, Jerusalem, Israel. His fields of interest include neonatology, ventilatory management of premature newborns, medications in pregnancy and lactation, and the role of NTproBNP as a marker in health and disease.
