Chi Wai Hui

Dr. Chi Wai HUI is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He obtained his a BSc in Chemical Engineering at National University of Taiwan and a MSc in Chemical Engineering at Chung Yuen Christian University (Taiwan), a MSc in Computation at University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering at UMIST. Dr. Hui has been working six years as a Senior Consultant for Mitsubishi Chemical (Japan) before joining HKUST. His reserach interests include modelling and optimization of large-scale chemical production processes and waste to energy. He has published over 80 papers in indexed journals and obtained 8 process design patents.
