Cecil Czerkinsky

Cecil Czerkinsky is a recipient of the D.M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. He joined the International Vaccine Institute, Seoul, Republic of Korea, as Deputy Director General and Head of the Laboratory Sciences Division, in 2005. He has formerly been a Professor at the University of Göteborg (Sweden) and Director of the Division of Immunology and Vaccinology at the French National Institutes of Health and Medical Research (INSERM), University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis (Nice, France). Dr Czerkinsky holds adjunct faculty appointments as Professor of vaccinology at Seoul National University College of Biological Sciences and as Clinical Professor at Korea University College of Medicine. He is an Immunologist with a focus on vaccine development and has contributed more than 160 scientific publications including reviews in immunology and vaccinology.
